Spring Break Children Storytime!

Wondering what to do for Spring Break? Come to Piddlin' Pottery for books, snacks and crafts! Featuring your favorite children's books read by educators, Nan and Kayle, and a chance for your child to paint a piece of pottery that reminds them of the experience. We will also be serving fun snacks for them to enjoy after the masterpieces are completed.

These fun experiences will be offered Monday-Friday from 10am to 12pm each day. The cost per child is $30 and a $10 deposit will be required at time of sign-up to hold your child's spot. There will be a maximum of 10 spots per day.*

This $30 includes the story time, the pottery piece to be painted, and a fun story themed snack.

For further information on each day, click on the event below.

*If the day fills up before you are able to sign your child up, let us know which day you would like and we can put you on a hold list for a potential second class that day.

We will be open for Walk-In painting from noon to 5:00 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and regular noon to 7:00 hours on Thursday and Friday. Of course, we'll be open Saturday and Sunday for regular hours, too.

About Nan: Hi! I'm the new owner of Piddlin' Pottery. I'm a recently retired elementary school counselor and teacher. After a year off, I decided I needed to hang out with children and creative minds again. I love to read stories to groups and tie them into real life experiences and challenges. Come have a great time seeing what we can do when we let our imaginations and creativity take over!

About Kayle: Hi! I'm Kayle and I'm so excited to be able to share this fun week with you and your children! I just moved to Tyler from Orlando, FL where I worked at Walt Disney World for almost four years! I have a degree in Elementary Education which was utilized while teaching informally at Disney. I love children and I love reading stories, so this is a perfect way for me to spend my spring break!
