Please join amazing local artist Robin Enneking (bio below) as she instructs and demonstrates, tricks and tips to colored pencil use, specific problem solving techniques and individualized instructions for you to render your portrait.

Supplies Needed:
-Drawing board 9"x12" min. (provided if you don't have one for $4.00)
2- 8"x 10" Photo copies of your reference photo on regular copy paper. Please bring the original snapshot as well. Please note:
we cannot use a photo that has been copyrighted by a professional photographer!
-72 count or higher Prisma color colored pencils
-Electric pencil sharpener if you have one. I will have three on hand if you don't mind sharing. (If you decide to buy one, please look for one with rotary blade not one single blade that spins similar to old school wall mounted hand sharpener.)

Age: 14+

Please note: You likely will not leave with a finished portrait but will have the knowledge to complete it on your own at your own pace.

Robin's Bio--
Robin Enneking earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts and teaching certification from Washburn University. She has taught inside Hobby Lobby, with Emerald Bay residents, in her own art studio and multiple workshops through various art clubs in East Texas.
She has won numerous awards for her artwork which can be found in private collections in AZ, IN, AL, KS, NC and TX. Her work once hung in the Kansas State Legislative Chambers. Her style and media vary from Hyper-realistic graphite pencil to abstract oil painting or anything in between.
